There is an lbf and an lbm, while only 1 Kg. In the Metric system, if you want to talk force, you use Newton - no confusion. If Newton's and their companion Pascals were universal, then we wouldn't be having this thread.
I firmly believe that "kgf" is just a stupid as "slug" and I wish that instrument manufacturers would not accept orders for instruments calibrated in this abortion of a unit - except that instrument makers are not cops, and if one of us engineers ask for it and the first maker ssys "no" then the next will say "yes" and the first maker will have lost a sale and possibly a customer.
Engineers have to stop asking for stupid things before manufacturer's will stop making the stupid things. You could download from NIST website.

Assuming 60kg weight at 9. This will give mass. Now multiply mass by 9. The kilogram per centimeter is a unit of measurement of linear density. Please provide values below to convert kilogram-force [kgf] to newton 18965, or vice versa. Carabiners are rated for force, not weight, so the answer comes in kiloNewtons kN and is marked on the side of a carabiner. Carabiners rated for climbing need to hold at least 20kN of force, which is about 4, lbs 2, kg. The kilogram-force is equal to the magnitude of the force exerted on one kilogram of mass in a 9.
The kilogram-force is equal to a mass of one kilogram multiplied by the standard acceleration due to gravity on Earth , which is defined as exactly 9. What is the formula for force? To use this formula, you need to use SI units: Newtons for force, kilograms for mass, and meters per second squared for acceleration. The SI unit of force is the newton, symbol N. He was backed by some politicians in his heyday.
He was killed on 22 March by a four-member goonda team, supported by Jayaraj. We will be establishing the relationship between all the given units by converting them into the S.
Please provide values below to convert gram-force [gf] to dyne [dyn], or vice versa…. Gram-force to Dyne Conversion Table. Abbreviation: kgf.
