They tell her that they ran into Theodor and that he is doing fine which she is glad about. She drives the car towards the destination and while she drives away, she suddenly is attacked which causes the car to break down. She exits the car and sits next to it while looking through some data, muttering that it's bad luck for getting blown up on her first mission. Seeing no other choice, she grabs a rifle from the car and looks around the corner to see that the Falspawn has disappeared. However, the Falspawn is just above her and she wildly begins to shoot, hitting the engine of the car.
The Falspawn comes for her and Ash. Ash defeats the enemy and Ulku is glad to see when she breaks down in tears. While Ash helps her to stand up, she tells him that she sent out a distress signal but nobody answered it. The car blows up and the two aren't hurt by the explosion, being a safe distance away. Ulku then wants to go back to her mission but Xiao , using the body of an Auxiliary , tells her that she can't.
They go to a building and Xiao tells her that she was supposed to die in that attack which she confirms after looking through the data. She wants to report that she's alive but Xiao doesn't allow that, stating that it's better if everyone thinks she died. She wonders why that's case to which Xiao responds Luther let her into ARKS by using his power just to send her to the front lines to be killed in order to achive his objective. She then asks why she was the target to which Ash responds that it was to get Theodor when they see past Ash, Afin and Theodor discovering the burning car.
Ash and Xiao talk about unable to save everyone even by going to the past and are upset about the fact but Ulku tries to cheer them up by saying that they should defeat Luther and return ARKS to its proper form again. Xiao responds that it will leave the fleet devastated but Ulku states that it'll be tough at first but that they'll be fine if everyone works togther which makes Xiao laugh.
Before leaving to the present, Ash says to Ulku to meet again and she thanks him for saving her life. Ulku goes with Sarah to the mothership and appears before Ash, Matoi and Theodor, who can't believe she's alive. Theodor starts to attack Ulku, stating that she is just an illusion since she died, but Ulku slowly approaches him and wants him to come back to her. She touches his face and apologizes to him since he must have been really scared.
She tells him that she can rest now when they suddenly collapse and fall unconsicous. Ulku tells Theodor to be careful or else he will crush the lunches inside the box.
