Why is trinity important

It is the mystery of how God comes and dwells among us. In the form of the Holy Spirit He actually can live in your body if you are living a Holy life. In doing that when we all remain in the Spirit of God we are then tied together in unity by Jesus Christ. It is a mystery that is for sure.

My description of the Trinity as it was explained to me by my dad is that as a man is a father, a son and a brother also like a man; a woman is a mother, a daughter, and a sister. This made a lot of sense to me as a young child and it was how I explained it to my children and grandchildren. Yes I believe that there is only one God—He came down in the form of a baby to save all of us where He gave the ultimate sacrifice for all mankind.

The doctrine of the Trinity was first formulated among the early Christians and fathers of the Church as early Christians attempted to understand the relationship between Jesus and God in their scriptural documents and prior traditions.

Nontrinitarianism is a form of Christianity that rejects the mainstream Christian doctrine of the Trinity—the belief that God is three distinct hypostases or persons who are coeternal, coequal, and indivisibly united in one being, or essence from the Greek ousia.

For instance, they teach that Jesus is the son of God but is not part of a Trinity. They are often depicted at the crucifixion of Jesus Christ or at his tomb. The Bible says that Mary Magdalene was present at the two most important moments in the story of Jesus: the crucifixion and the resurrection. It was customary at this time for Jewish women to prepare bodies for burial. Begin typing your search term above and press enter to search.

Scripture clearly states that there is one God yet three separate Persons for example, see Matthew and Mark As we have discussed in the last three devotional series, each Person of the Trinity plays a role in salvation. Studying these roles in light of the doctrine of the Trinity gives us a deeper understanding of God and His Word.

When we interpret this passage, we should recognize that each member of the Trinity is God.
