The year-old BBC TV celebrity has described the last two years of his life as "devastating" and "painful". In August , Charles' life was turned upside down when he was diagnosed with testicular cancer.
A month later his son, who he and wife Rebecca named Thomas William Hanson, was stillborn. Then, last October, as he celebrated news that his wife was pregnant again Charles' cancer made an unexpected comeback and he faced gruelling chemotherapy.
Now Charles and Rebecca are celebrating the birth of their baby daughter, four-month-old Matilda, following IVF treatment. It has been a tough two years, but Matilda has been a wonderful, happy baby and I am feeling well now. After recovering from his illness Charles, this week, began filming the next series of TV antiques show, having only missed one series while he was poorly.
Charles and Rebecca are delighted with their beautiful daughter, who was born in April. She's happy and content and the pair adore their little girl. Matilda will know all about Tommy as she grows up. He will always be a big part of our life. Come on. Buy it! Fearing his chances of higher profit were toast, he added: "Ready? In earlier episodes of Bargain Hunt , he had crooked teeth which were not straight, and made his mouth appear in a certain way.
In recent pictures though — as of September — the auctioneer seems to have completely transformed, and now has straight teeth. The change did not go amiss from fans, who first noticed his new teeth during the November 2nd episode. Before Charles is thought to have fixed his teeth, he appeared significantly older than he looks now.
However, he has not confirmed these rumors.
